BACHAO Emerging Young Professional (EYP) Sponsorship Initiative
Our Mission Our goal is to connect Bangladeshi-American post-graduate career professionals with ambitious underprivileged students in Bangladesh to financially support their educational pursuits and foster meaningful cross-continental connections.
Bangladeshi-American Charitable Organization (BACHAO) raises funds for community-based projects that provide necessary resources and meaningful opportunities to underprivileged individuals in Bangladesh. The EYP initiative will directly support:
Speak Up For The Poor: Girls Education Program which aims to break the cycle of poverty and prevent child marriages by investing in the education of young girls in the villages of Bangladesh.
Gulshan Rotary Club: Scholarship Program which supports high-achieving students from impoverished remote areas of Bangladesh in their pursuit of higher education.
Sponsoring a student’s education for an entire academic year is approximately $500-$600. Payments can be made in full or through monthly installments via Zelle and PayPal.
Sponsorship & Connection In addition to the financial sponsorship, participants who are interested will have the opportunity to connect with the student they sponsor or other students who are participating in the program.
